A B2C automotive discovery and test-drive booking platform - redesigned to reduce decision fatigue, improve booking conversion by 20%, and cut task completion time by 25%.

The Problem

The platform suffered from high user drop-off rates during the vehicle booking process. Users were taking an average of 6.5 minutes to complete a booking due to complex, multi-step forms and redundant decision checkpoints that increased cognitive load.

The Solution

I redesigned the end-to-end booking funnel architecture. By implementing progressive disclosure, streamlining the information hierarchy, and utilizing A/B-informed layout refinements, I removed friction from the user journey and simplified decision-making.

The Impact

  • Increased lead-to-booking conversion from 3.5% to 4.2% (~20% uplift).

  • Reduced booking drop-offs by 18–20%.

  • Cut average task completion time by 25% (from 6.5 to 4.5 minutes).
